Last year my friend, Evan, and I took a trip to France. I never traveled to another country before that trip. We studied French for two months before we left. When the day of our flight finally arrived, we were so nervous and excited! The flight was fun because the flight attendants spoke French, and we practiced speaking with them. Finally, we arrived in Paris. It was so beautiful! We took the subway to get from the airport to our hotel. After that first day, we rode the subway every day. I felt so thrilled to finally be in another country. Evan fell in love with the city, and wants to move there permanently. While we were there, we ate croissants, went to many museums, saw a lot of monuments, and met a lot of interesting people. We made so many new friends, and some of them are going to come visit us in New York! My trip to Paris was so wonderful, I feel like I caught a lucky star. I can’t wait to return.
