Aqui esta:

The increase in deforestation in Peru is worrying considering that according to the report of the National Forest and Wildlife Service (Serfor) until 2017, Peru has lost a total of 7.7 million hectares of natural forest, of which 60% It was concentrated in the departments of Ucayali, Madre de Dios, Huánuco and Loreto.

The main causes of deforestation in Peru are: illegal mining, monocultures, illegal logging, and road construction.

Regarding monocultures, I consider that companies that are dedicated to the cultivation of cocoa, oil palm, among other products, must develop their activities in areas already intervened by man since affecting primary forests generates serious impacts on biodiversity since flora and fauna are not being restored in the plantations that are replacing the forest. Land use must be intensified by strengthening it to increase its productivity.

The construction of roads and infrastructure is very important for the development of economic and tourist activities in our country, however these activities should not affect the ecosystem; These activities must be carried out by coordinating joint actions with regional governments, the State and the population; develop activities such as forest compensation based on the guidelines for the restoration of forest ecosystems proposed by Serfor and the natural and / or artificial canopy bridges that have been successfully implemented in other countries will allow us to create sustainable habitats for our ecosystem.

The care of protected natural areas by the State will ensure the conservation of biodiversity, as well as maintaining the natural processes of ecosystems are important to face climate change and mitigate the effects that it is currently causing, we must have taking into account that the most extensive primary forest on planet Earth is the Amazon rainforest, therefore its protection is a great challenge for the State, it is also important to know that 57% of the national territory (73 million hectares) are forests and Peru It is the ninth country in forest extension worldwide and the second largest country in the Amazon.
