There are two species of camels. They are called dromedary and Bactrian camels.
Dromedaries have one hump. They live in the Sahara in Africa. The Sahara is hot.
Dromedaries’ hair is short and they have long legs. They can run at 40 kilometres
an hour. Bactrian camels have two humps. They live in the Gobi Desert in Asia.
The Gobi is very cold in winter, it’s colder than Sahara. Bactrian camels have
longer hair than dromedaries. They have shorter legs and they are slower.
