Hi to you all, last weekend________(be) really great. The weather________(be) so nice that my Dad , Joe _______ (decide) to take us to the seaside. There ______Sally, my mum, my sister Kate and me of course Sam, the best!!. First we _______ (get) up early, then we all _____ (have) a big breakfast, Dad __________(drink) too much coffee as usual! Kate ____________(help) Mum to prepare the lunch basket. I _______ (give) Dad a hand with loading the car, so we ______(put) some beach towels, a beach umbrella, deck chairs and all our beach toys in the boot, it _____(be) full. Then it_________(be) time to go. Dad ________(drive) all the way to Torquay. It _____ (be) very hot , so there___________(be) lots of people on the beach. My sister and I _______ (play) with our toys, we _________ (make) sandcastles with Mum, we ___________(go) swimming in the sea with Dad , but the water _________(be ) still a bit cold!! First we got up early, then we all had a big breakfast, Dad drank too much coffee as usual! Kate helped Mum to prepare the lunch basket. I gave Dad a hand with loading the car, so we put some beach towels, a beach umbrella, deck chairs and all our beach toys in the boot, it was full. Then it was time to go. Dad drove all the way to Torquay. It was very hot , so there were lots of people on the beach. My sister and I played with our toys, we made sandcastles with Mum, we went swimming in the sea with Dad , but the water was still a bit cold!! We had lunch on the beach then we played ball together. A little later in the afternoon, Dad just relaxed and read his Sunday paper, Mum sunbathed to get a nice tan and we went on playing with other kids on the beach. At the end of the day , before going back home , we went to a nice café on the pier and Dad bought us ice creams which we ate happily, while he had a beer and Mum a nice cup of tea. Then it was time to go back home, so took the car back , but the drive wasn't as cheerful as in the morning. When we got back home, we helped our parents to unload the car , then we put everything away nice and tidy for next weekend . In the evening we revised our lesson for the following Monday. Hola a todos, el fin de semana pasado fue realmente genial. El clima era tan agradable que mi papá, Joe, decidió llevarnos a la playa. Estaban Sally, mi mamá, mi hermana Kate y yo por supuesto Sam, la mejor !!. Primero nos levantamos temprano, luego todos desayunamos mucho, ¡papá bebió demasiado café como de costumbre! Kate ayudó a mamá a preparar la canasta del almuerzo. Le dí una mano a papá para cargar el auto, así que pusimos algunas toallas de playa, una sombrilla de playa, tumbonas y todos nuestros juguetes de playa en el maletero, estaba lleno. Entonces era tiempo de irnos. Papá condujo hasta Torquay. Hacía mucho calor, así que había mucha gente en la playa. Mi hermana y yo jugamos con nuestros juguetes, hicimos castillos de arena con mamá, fuimos a nadar al mar con papá, ¡pero el agua todavía estaba un poco fría! Almorzamos en la playa y luego jugamos a la pelota juntos.
