Te puedo ayudar en algunas para que entiendas.
La técnica para poder hacer past continuous depende del sujeto
Sujeto + verbo to-be + verbo -ing + término.
Sí el sujeto, es she/he/it (tercera persona) o I (primera persona) necesitas (was en el verbo to-be) porque son singulares.
Sí el sujeto es you/we/they necesitas were ya que son plurales.
Así seria ejemplos con was:
She was eating pizza in the kitchen
Yesterday, I was watching tv on my room.
He was going to buy something in the supermarket.
Con were:
They were shopping in the shopping centre.
We were buying some food in the supermarket.
Were you eating that yesterday?
En pregunta sería
Verbo to-be (was or were) + sujeto (you/we/they/she/he/it) + verbo -ing (participio) + término.
ejemplo:
Was she doing the homework?
espero que hayas entendido.
