I. Read the blog and underline the sentences of the simple past (affirmative and negative) .

Well, it’s day five of my vacation now, and so it’s mixture of good and bad. The flight arrived on time, but the bus to the hotel had a problema, so we got to the hotel late. We sat on the side of the road for two hours until another bus came. We didn’t do much in the first two days. We just sat next to the pool. I didn’t like the food. It was fish and rice every day, and they didn’t have fries or pizza. On the third day it wasn’t sunny, so we went to a theme park. I went on most of the rides, but I didn’t go on of the roller coaster-it was too big and fast! Yesterday we went to the beach. I swam in the ocean and saw a lot of fish, but I couldn’t catch any.
