Topic 2: Second conditional (Imaginary situations)

Second conditional is used to talk about an unreal present situation with an imaginary future consequence.

This structure always consists of 2 complementary sentences. One that establishes a condition and another that expresses the consequence to that condition.

Exercise 2: Find the mistakes and rewrite the sentences correctly.


1. If I lose my cellphone, my mom would is super angry at me!

2. I can go to the moon if I am an astronaut.

3. If you understand the math problem, you will solve it alone.

4. I buy a great mansion if I win the lottery.
