A tired starving wolf was walking slowly down a road near a town when a dog
trotted rapidly past him. The dog stopped turned to the wolf and said “Oh Cousin
Wolf you have a very difficult life. Why don’t you work, as I do so that you can eat
well and regularly?
“I don’t know where I could get work” replied the wolf.
“I can solve that problem easily ”said the dog. “Come to my master’s house, and
they started walking toward the town together. As they walked along, the wolf
noticed that the dog had almost no hair on part of his neck. “What happened to the
hair on your neck, Cousin Dog?” the wolf asked.
“Oh, it’s nothing” said the dog. “My master puts a collar and chain on me at night,
and the collar rubs the hair off. I’m accustomed to it though, and it doesn’t really
bother me”
“It’s nothing” responded the wolf. “Thank you for you offer to help me, but goodbye,
Cousin Dog” and the wolf turned around and walked quickly toward the forest.

Un lobo cansado y hambriento caminaba lentamente por una carretera cerca de un pueblo cuando un perro

"No es nada" respondió el lobo. "Gracias por ofrecerte a ayudarme, pero adiós,
Cousin Dog ”y el lobo se dio la vuelta y caminó rápidamente hacia el bosque.
