A FAMOUS WRITER, OSCAR WILDE

Oscar Wilde was born in Dublin, Ireland. . in 1854. He went to study in Oxford University in England, where he was a
brilliant student. He didn’t like sports and hid clothes were unusual. His hair was long. In those days people didn’t
accept that.
Then, He left Oxford and went to London. There, he became famous for his intelligence and his brilliant conversation.
He worked as a writer a gave talks in England and America.
In 1884, Wilde married Constance Lloyd and they had two sons. He worked for a popular magazine and in 1888 he
published stories for children. After that, he wrote a story collection in 1891. In his last collection he included “The
Canterville Ghost”.
