The contamination of our environment is one of the most worrying and controversial events.
Earth is a unique planet in the solar system. With an incredible diversity of life, man does not realize that he has an unrepeatable gift in which to develop his existence.
The issue of the pollution of our planet is not something new, but it could be said that today its study requires special importance. Why? Simply because now more than ever man is polluting.
Several studies carried out by experts have shown that air, soil and sea pollution in the last hundred years has been greater than that produced in several centuries of history.
Another of the well-known consequences is the phenomenon known as climate change. Lack of awareness and responsibility
Planet earth is the home of humanity. The logical thing will be that they try to take care, as everyone does, of their own home. However, it is clear that this is not what is currently happening.
Every day, we see people of all ages throw their waste into the street. What evidence does that? Evidence of a lack of education.
The world is changing. The economic, environmental and social crisis are different manifestations of an unsustainable development model based on the principles of exploitation of resources to extract the maximum benefit in the shortest possible time, without considering the impact that this generates on ecosystems and populations.
Responsibility is a sense of conscience. In other words "it is to realize." Understand that we owe certain attitudes, certain options.
Being responsible, we understand that a specific situation, in turn, requires a specific action that is consistent with the characteristics of that situation.
This ability to see and understand must be encouraged from an early age. If a child is not taught certain values at the appropriate age, it is very likely that they no longer learn them in the future, or that it will be much more difficult for them to assimilate.
A grain of sand for a radical change
A common belief is that what one person does has no weight or influence. Such reasoning lacks force. It is this way of thinking that really slows down the expansion of a greater citizen awareness when it comes to caring for the environment.
