in 1933 her family moved to the netherlands to stard a new life because they were afraid of hitler anne was a vey studious and hard working student who a passion for book she loved reading and dreamt a famous writer she was also a very energetic and outgoing girl she han many friends in the netherlands and sent long sent long hour playing with her friends

in june 1942 anne received a notebook for her thirteeenth brtgday she decided to use it as adiary and wrote about her dreams to become a writer in july she and her family were ordered to go to a work camp so they decided to hide in the attic of her father´s worplace. they shared the small space with another family for two years. they survived thanks to some friends who regularly sent them food


unfortunately in august 1944 german security police discovered them and arrested its accupants anne was sent to the auschwitz concentration camp. anne died of typhus in march 1945 er diary was found and given to her father. it is one of the most widely read books in the world today
