Tené en cuenta que expresiones en pasado en este párrafo solo hay uno y es Last year, quizás quisiste decir verbos conjugadas al pasado pero ahi te los subrayé a cada uno. El verbo to be, a diferencia de los demás verbos en pasado que están subrayados, está en negritas. en pasado el verb to be es was were (afirmacion) y wasn't weren't (negacion)
