It has been raining all day. (Ha estado lloviendo una vez todo el día)

Para formar el presente perfecto continuo se escribe have been o has been según el sujeto y el verbo principal en con la terminación -ing que corresponde al gerundio:

  • I haven’t been waiting for long.
  • She’s been talking with him all morning.
  • He’s been sleeping for more than fourteen hours.
  • She’s been studying English since she was in high school.
  • I’ve been cooking something special for you.
  • It’s been raining all day.
  • You’ve been working in that firm for many years.
  • We’ve been living here for two years.
  • We’ve been here for 5 years.
  • It’s been raining in London since  1976.
