1. For most comparative adjectives and adverbs with one syllabe, add: -ER

ejemplo: tall ( alto )  ==>    taller (than)  ( mas alto (que) …)

2. For most superlative and adverbs with one syllabe, add: -EST

ejemplo: tall (  alto)  ==>      the tallest ( el mas alto )

3. For most comparatives and adverbs with two or more syllabes add: MORE

ejemplo: intelligent: ==>   more intelligent (than) ( mas inteligente (que) )

4. For most superlative adjectives and adverbs with two or more syllables add: THE MOST

ejemplo: intelligent: ==> the most intelligent ( el mas inteligente)
