Afirmativo se forma con el presente del verbo TO BE en forma afirmativa

Ejemplo=

There is a pen on the desk

Hay un lapicero sobre el pupitre

Negativo se forma con la negativa del verbo TO BE (there is not/there are not) no hay

Ejemplo=

There are not too much oranges in the market

No hay demaciadas naranjas en el mercado

Interrogativa se forma con el verbo TO BE (is/are) seguido de there. Estas preguntas suelen responderse con la forma corta: yes there is/are, no, there isn't/ there aren't.

Ejemplo=

Excuseme. Is the a hotel near here? = disculpe.? ¿Hay un hotel cerca de aquí? R// no, there is not/ R// no, no hay
