1- It is considered rude to point the finger at something in some areas near Tibet, such as Jiuzhaiguo National Park and other places with Tibetan population. To avoid being considered a rude person, instead of using your fingers to point at a person or object, use your whole hand palm up and fingers flat.
2- Although it may seem strange, compliments in China should not be accepted graciously. Praise is rejected as it can be seen as a sign of vanity.
3- Sometimes, Chinese groups or families may ask a foreigner to pose for a photo with them, especially in public places.
