-Build confidence by accepting yourself, in order to work around your strengths and weaknesse.

- Maintaining a balanced diet, getting a little exercise and getting a good night's sleep are key steps to maintaining good mental health.

- Encourage relationships that make you feel good and encourage you to lead a good lifestyle and stay away from those that depress you or affect your mood.

- Provide support to your friends, as all relationships tend to prosper after a test.

- Be prepared to avoid stress. For example, if you go through a bad financial time, it will be much less stressful if you have savings prepared.

- Get involved with your community, this will give you a purpose within it.

- Learn to have self-control and not to get carried away by emotions.

- Learn to communicate. Not communicating feelings, nothing good comes from not sharing your problems and concerns with others.
