A disaster of summer

Last year in summer, my friend told me that if I want go and swim in her new house, I said yes, but I didn't told my parents yet. While I was thinking about the way that I had to tell them, they arrived. Mom was cooking dinner, dad was watching TV, and again I was thinking about the dialogue that we will have in a few minutes. Mom finally said that the dinner was done, we started to eat, and was  the moment to told about the invitation that my friend told me, I was telling them the idea and they acepted so fast. While I was going to my friend's house, she called me and told me that sorry but accidentaly she had to go.
