Despejamos x de (1)

x + y = 10

x = 10 - y      Sustituimos este valor en (2)

x - y = 2

10 - y - y = 2

10 - 2y = 2

10 - 2 = 2y

8 = 2y

8/2 = y

4 = y      Reemplazas este valor en (1)

x + y = 10

x + 4 = 10

x = 10 - 4

x = 6
