Colombia has become in the last decade one of the most visited countries in South America thanks to its enormous tourist, historical and cultural offer for all tastes. It is really impressive to see the amount of travelers from all over the planet who come to Colombia to enjoy this beautiful country.
Traveling to Colombia is a brutal experience in many ways, the truth is that I was pleasantly surprised in many ways. Its people, its landscapes, its history and its culture were something that made me fall in love.
This country has everything to enchant anyone: From modern cities to colonial places and towns full of history, from beautiful Caribbean beaches to the desert itself. There is no doubt that knowing Colombia is an experience that I would recommend to anyone who loves travel.
I fully understand that in most cases, time plays a somewhat limiting role in getting to know a place. Not all of us have the same number of days available, for various reasons such as vacations from work or school.
Consider that although it may not look so on the map, Colombia is a fairly large country. The distances to go from one place to another are important and are vital to be able to plan our route in the most efficient way possible.
I want to help you, and precisely for this reason, I put together this guide of what to visit in Colombia in 15 days. I took as a base the average number of days that most travelers have (like a vacation period), in this case, two weeks.
I was in Colombia for almost a month, exploring many interesting areas, but I wrote this article based on a specific 15-day route through the country. Be careful, if you have more or less time, don't worry, I recommend that you read it to the end to get a first idea and then I will give you advice if this is your case.
