1. Why does the comparative adjective in a) use more, but the comparative b) doesn't?
Because in the a) shows a higher level of difference, in the b) shows a lower level of difference.
2. Which word used before the adjective shows a big difference?
a) The camera is much more powerful.
3. Which phrase used before the adjective shows a small difference?
b) It's a bit easier to navigate.
4. Do you know any other words to show how big/small a difference is?
- a lot/far more + adjective /nowhere near + as + adjective + as for a big difference.
- a little/slightly for a small difference.
5.
?
6. How are the structures in bold in d) and e) different from each other? Why?
d) The screen folds out, so it's about twice the size of your current phone's.
- La pantalla se despliega, es por eso que es aproximadamente el doble del tamaño de tu telefono actual.
e) It's about twice as big as the speaker you currently have.
- e) Es aproximadamente el doble de grande que el altavoz que tienes actualmente.
I think in the d) is using a noun to compare. In the e) is using an adjective to compare.
