AFFIRMATIVE: The basic formula for this type of sentence would be: Subject + Verb + Complement.

NEGATIVE: For the pronouns "he", "she" and "it" the auxiliary verb "doesn't" is used: He doesn't sleep = He doesn't sleep. She doesn't love me = She doesn't love me. The machine doesn't work = The machine doesn't work.

INTERROGATIVE IN SIMPLE PAST: Did + subject + verb of the action in infinitive + Complements. Example with the verb to 'drink':
