In summer, after schools close, I work at a theme park in a nearby coastal town. I love summer time and working in the park, so I can't wait until schools close for the summer. The amusement park where I work is really big, with many fun attractions and restaurants. But best of all, it's actually built on the beach. This is a beach town and there is a very long promenade along the beach with many shops, food stores and stairs to the beach at various points. The main entrance to the park is also from the seafront. The park also has beach access so you can get to the beach by going through the park. I work there as a tour operator on one of the roller coasters, which is the most fun. There are three other employees working on the same trip with me. We welcome passengers, remind them of security procedures and operate the trip. I work here for about two months every summer and I really enjoy it. They host several fun events during the summer with free food, ice cream, and games for workers. Access to the park is free for employees, so I can ride the attractions as much as I want. My family and friends love to visit me here because I can also get free admission to the park. The only bad thing about working here is that sometimes it's too hot. But even then, I can jump into the cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean and cool off.
