READING COMPREHENSION
I had worked for this Company for ten years, but I hadn't always worked in the same department. I had worked
in sales marketing and accounts, so I had gained a lot of experiences. In fact, I had just been promoted assistant
Manager. I now report directly, to Mr. Gray, the Managing director.
Our new head office is in Monteria. We had been here for one year. Before that we were based in a small town.
We also have a new fleet of cars. We had had these Renaults for five months.
Our main clients are the Rodriguez and Ochoa business group, they had been our clients for a long time. Over
the years, we had worked hard to satisfy our clients, although, we hadn't always succeeded.
We had made many changes in the company in order to remind competitive. Some people had had difficulties
adjusting to the new procedures because they hadn't had enough training. Business had been a little slow
recently due to the recession, but we managed to achieve our objectives the last year. We will again this year.
