A: I wouldn’t wait too long if I were you, it could/ might be serious.

B: Will you drive me to the hospital? I would, but my car is broken.

A: if you’d asked me last week, I could have, but I can’t this week, I’m so busy with work

B: do you have to work long hours this week?

A: Yes, I wouldn’t normally

work shifts as long as these ones. My boss said I had to.

B: you should look for a new job

A: I might start looking soon, I won’t want to work these hours when I’m older.

B: Sorry, may I take this call? It’s important.
