The legend of the twins
He made them lunch and they hurried out into the street. Like every day, he took his twin daughters to school. They were walking along humming a song and holding hands when the phone rang from his bag. It was from work. He responded quickly and his interlocutor asked him to go immediately to the office. Something serious had happened, so he decided to keep the girls alone; they knew the way well. He kissed them on the forehead and took the route back. She only took twenty steps. Behind her, the sound of a loud thump followed by a slowing down made her turn her head with an expression of horror on her face. The bodies of the two little girls lay inert under a truck. They were still holding hands.
The woman was plunged into a deep depression from which she managed to get out of a new pregnancy. By irony of fate, two twin girls were coming to life in her womb. When she gave birth, the striking resemblance to her deceased daughters surprised more than one neighbor. As the little ones grew older, the mother became more and more protective. The idea that she might lose them terrified her. One day, on the way to school, the sisters came forward and ran under the watchful eye of the woman. As soon as they set foot on the asphalt, an iron hand abruptly stopped them. Between heartbroken sobs, her mother begged them never to cross without her permission. "We didn't think about doing it. They hit us once, mom. It will not happen again".
Since then, some travelers assure that when passing through this section some interference seeps into the radio and a mysterious melody is heard: the humming of some girls.
