Families in the 1950s had very different lives than families do now. For
Example: Technology was not very developed, so children used to study
using books, paperback dictionaries and encyclopedias. They used to write
down information by hand or use a typewriter and nowadays students have
classes using tablets, laptops, PCs, smartphones, cells, internet. They didn´t
even have calculators. Many families didn´t have TVs so They used to listen
to the radio. And of course, they used to read much more. The first TVs were
black and white with only two channels. Many women used to sew and knit
clothes for their family because it was expensive to buy clothes in stores.

Ejemplo: la tecnología no estaba muy desarrollada, por lo que los niños solían estudiar
