The planet where we live is near eight other planets. Until the twentieth century we didn't have maps of our planet. Now, we can take pictures of it from space. These pictures are very important because,for example, they tell us what the weather is going to be like. The photos are also very beautiful. From space, our planet looks like a blue ball with white clouds. Most of our planet has water on it. This water is very important for all the animals and plants what live here. Animals, plants and people need to drink this water. Our planet is important to everyone and to everything that lives here. We must look after it very carefully.
