Otra tradición muy popular es pegarse un trébol en la chaqueta. Se dice que San Patricio usaba un trébol para enseñar a la gente sobre la Santísima Trinidad. Las tres hojas simbolizaban el padre, el hijo y el espírito santo según la tradición cristiana.
