Today John woke up late because the alarm did not sound, so he ran to go to work but slipped and fell to the ground.

This made him waste time and he also missed the bus. So he got in the car but got stuck in a traffic jam and was late for work. So his boss fired him.

Explicación:

Hoy John se despertó tarde porque no sonó el despertador, por lo que salió corriendo para ir a trabajar pero resbaló y cayó al suelo.

Esto le hizo perder tiempo y tambien perdio el bus. Entonces cogió el coche pero se quedó atrapado en  un atasco y llegó tarde a trabajar. Así que su jefe le despidió.
