It was invented in China in the 16th century, but would not be used as such until 1890, when Robert Gair invented the first cardboard box. As we say, corrugated cardboard is one of the most used containers and packaging in the world to group, transport, expose and sell consumer products.

was created by accident in the 1870's by an American printer named Robert Gair. Mr. Gair was making paper bags in his shop when he accidentally cut a paper box where it was only meant to be creased.
