Josie was walking her dog in the park one morning when she ran into Max. She hadn’t seen Max for years, since they had broken up. So, today, when she was walking in the park, she was very surprised to see him. “Hi, Max!” she said.
Max looked at her saying, “Oh, hi Josie. It’s been a long time. How are you doing?”
“Oh, I’m fine.” said Josie. “I was just walking my dog in the park.”
“What have you been doing the last few years?”, asked Max.
“Oh, you know.” said Josie. “The usual things. I’ve been working, getting married, having children. Normal things that everybody does. And you? What have you been doing?”
“Oh, not much. I’ve been living with my parents this whole time.”
“Are you working?”
“No, I’m not. I’m looking for a job. The company I was working for closed last year.”
“Well, that’s interesting,” said Josie. "My children are waiting for me at home. I’m going to make lunch. It’s good to see you, though".
