I was both, excited and nervous as I stood there waiting at the airport. I was finally going to meet her, my grandparents were behind me also waiting for them to arrive. My parents had decided to adopt a child and they had travelled all the way to Germany to pick up her, she was a 4 years old child that didn’t had a very good start, but I was sure she was going to be happy with us.
The gate opened and all the passengers got out, we were still waiting for them when the fight attendant said three wrecks no more passengers left. We started to think the worse, what if they didn’t make it to the airport? Or if they lost their flight? My grandma started calling them without getting any answers but the answering machine. We went to the customer service office and asked if they had any news from them, the answer was negative. We went back home and tried to contact them by any way possible.

DAD: Call social services
After my mom gave me a look like a witch she goes up stairs and after a minute she was SCREAMING at the phone! My dad and me just look each other and he continue making calls. I went up stairs and locked in my room I lay in my bed and all kind of Thoughts were in my mind in that moment so I without thinking I stand up and go running out.
MOM: Wait a moment... ¡Where are you going!
DAD: ¡Come here!
I didn't pay attention and just went out, take my dad's car and go to the airport in the moment I enter I saw a big banner with my dad, mom and my name under a big name 'SOFIA' In that moment I run after that poster and stud up front a woman next to a girl.
WOMAN: ¡Hi! Who are you?
ME: I'am the person involved with the adoption.
WOMAN: We need an adult.
In that moment I call my mom and dad and the were here fast In conlusion We were in the wrong fligth so I have a sister and is with us.
