Hello Rick,
Sorry, I haven’t written in a while, but I’ve been extremely busy. That’s because I’m doing community service at school. I work with children in a very poor area of the city. It’s an hour away from my house. Some of the kids were difficult at first, but now we get along well. They really like sports, especially soccer, but we also play volleyball and basketball.
Last weekend we organized a soccer competition. The first prize was a trip to the movies on Sunday afternoon. We bought each kid popcorn and soda. One day, we baked cookies, took pictures of the whole process and published some of them in a local newspaper. Working with kids can be hard work, but I really enjoy it!
