Benjamin Franklin was born in 1706. He was
a member of a family of 17 children. He had
different jobs. When he was 13 he worked in
printing business and writer. At the age of 15
he worked delivering newspapers. He was
also a famous experiment was the one which
proved that lightning was only a giant

From 1750 to 1764 he became a
Congressman and in 1775 helped to write
the Declaration of Independence. He died in
1790.

Benjamin Franklin was the fifteenth son of a total of seventeen brothers (four half-brothers by father and the rest by brothers of father and mother) .9 Son of Josiah Franklin (1656-1744) 10 and of his second wife Abiah Folger.
