Edgar allan poe, an American writer, was born in 1809 and died in 1849. he wrotr poems, detective store and thrillers.
poe lived in baltimore, maryland for many years and today, his house is a museum. however, the neighbours are sacred of the house. they often see and hear strange things, like doors and windows opening and closing on their own.
one incident happened in 1968. a neighbour called the police because there was a light in the house. when the police arrived, they saw the light. It moved from the first floor to the second floor and then to the attic. but when the police entered the house, there wasn't anybody there. the neighbours think it was the ghost of edgar allan poe. he always wrote in the attic!!
