Cual es la diferencia entre el verbo regular e irregular del presente indicativo? (ingles)

Aquellos que no cambian su raíz a la hora de conjugarlos son los verbos regulares. El verbo amar mantiene la raíz am en cualquiera de sus formas (amo, amé, amaré...). En cambio, los verbos irregulares sí tienen alteraciones en su raíz en algunas de sus formas (el verbo caber, sería yo quepo, yo cabré o yo cupe).
