Yesterday, my neighbour came home early from work. His son was playing the drums  in the living room and his daughter was listenin to jazz music on the radio. Workers were repairing the road in front of his house, a dog  was barking in the garden, and l was cutting the grass. A few minutes later, my neighbour got into his car. He  was not smiling. "Where are you going?" I asked. "Back to work, where it's quiet," he  said.
