His publications include: The translation from English to Spanish: guide for the translator (3rd edition, 2008), Good and bad words (1994) and the International Glossary for the translator (4th edition, 2003), in collaboration with his colleague John D. Chadburn. His translations include "Racial Prejudice in the New World, Aristotle and the Indians of Latin America", by Lewis Hanke and The Teaching of Reading and Writing, by William S. Gray. For his “significant contributions in the field of translation and interpretation”, in 1992 he received from ELADI (Latin American School of Interpreters), the “Danica Selescovitch” award.
