Since= since + momento concreto (por ej, 2010, 18 de febrero, etc).

1. We've been waiting here since 2 o'clock.

2. He's been living in Paris since 2008.

3. He has grown since I last saw him.

4. I really like Sara. I've known her since I was ten.

For= for + período temporal (hace 6 años, hace 3 meses, etc).

1. I studied English in Ireland for 2 years.

2. I'll be there for around two months.

3. We've been married for 16 years.

4. We haven't been to the cinema for a long time. Why don't we go this weekend?

Already= significa "ya" y quiere expresar algo ocurrido mucho antes de lo esperado.

1. I buy already the DVD too.

2. I listened already to ut and it's awful.

3. I finished already the Maths, but I haven't started the Geography yet.
