Internal Control in Organizations

In the field of accounting and administrative sciences, the work of professionals in these sciences takes on importance in the face of problems related to safeguarding assets as well as continuous improvement of the business, since excellence in practices turns out to be everyone's responsibility These professionals must respond to compliance or not with laws and regulations, in order to ensure a business world that has adequate levels of transparency in management and full confidence of all.
One of the issues that most concerns shareholders or senior managers of organizations in general is how to have some control over resources and ways of doing things, this because they know that they are not pervasive and they will not be able to find out everything in the entity and also because it is a reality that we all seek to preserve our properties and rights, it is here that internal control makes its great appearance and tries as much as possible to manage order within the great system that any organization represents.
Although there are many known internal control frameworks or systems, among which the efforts of OCEG, UK FRC and CPA Canada, among others, stand out. I am a continuous user of MARCO COSO, in all the years I have been working in the business area it is the one that has served me best as a reference to implement adequate systems in the management of all types of entities.
