Last week, there were some flood warnings in the
news because there were really heavy rains and
strong winds in my area. I remember I was alone
with my dog at home. But I wasn't afraid because my
neighbourhood is on a hill and water runs smoothly
when it rains. Well, it was different this time. It was
early in the afternoon; the sky was very dark (with
thunder and lightning) It started to rain a lot after
some time and there were some hard noises in the
street. Many of them were from car alarms. But that
was just the beginning of a nightmare! My dog Bella
was terrified. She was barking in the living room
and I decided to go out to have a look. I was terribly
shocked. There was water all around our house!
Fortunately, there were many firefighters rescuing
people in my neighbourhood and my dog and I were
saved. Some hours later, I was with my parents in
a shelter and we were much relieved. After some
days, we were very happy to retum home, I will
never forget this hornble experience.

La semana pasada, hubo algunas advertencias de inundación en el
noticias porque hubo lluvias muy fuertes y
fuertes vientos en mi área. Recuerdo que estaba solo
con mi perro en casa Pero no tenía miedo porque mi
el vecindario está en una colina y el agua corre suavemente
cuando llueve. Bueno, esta vez fue diferente. Era
temprano en la tarde; el cielo estaba muy oscuro (con
truenos y relámpagos) Comenzó a llover mucho después
algún tiempo y hubo algunos ruidos fuertes en el
calle. Muchos de ellos eran de alarmas de automóviles. Pero eso
fue solo el comienzo de una pesadilla! Mi perro bella
Estaba aterrorizado. Ella estaba ladrando en la sala de estar
y decidí salir a echar un vistazo. Estaba terriblemente
conmocionado. ¡Había agua por toda nuestra casa!
Afortunadamente, hubo muchos bomberos rescatando
personas en mi vecindario y mi perro y yo éramos
salvado. Algunas horas después, estaba con mis padres en
un refugio y nos sentimos muy aliviados. Despues de algunos
días, estuvimos muy contentos de regresar a casa, lo haré
