El verbo to be se divide segun el sujeto te lo explocare junto a los ejemplos.

I am pretty tall in my town. (1ra persona "am")

I am really excited about the concert. (lo mismo)

He is really interested in literature. (3ra persona "is")

She is amazing doing her job. (igual que con he)

You are not amazing at all.

I am really into anime .

The disastrous life of Saiki K is a great show.

They are not worth watching.( are puede ser usado para plural)

You have the worst grades in the school. (You puede ser singular y plural pero "are" funciona bien para ambos.

We are not  funny. (are funciona tambien para we)

Explicación:

Aparte acerca del asunto del negativo lo mas facil es agregarle "not" despues del verbo to be conjugado como algo asi:

I am not interested.

You are not boring.

Ya cuando progreses trata de usar las contracciones que son

You aren´t O puede ser You´re not pero no te lo explicare ahora.
