My father is completely clean of Technology. I mean it. He doesn't have a smart phone, he doesn't know how to browse Internet, he still writes handwritten letters and posts them, he also carries a diary and that diary is his to do list.
So this is the background of the story.
Few months ago when my father had to file an income tax return, he realized that he needs an email id for such works so he asked me to make one. I made one email id and I set the password to
“thewall*****_pinkfloyd”
I helped him with all the proceedings of the same. He forgot the email id too right after the work was done. But I wrote it in my notes for future reference.
-two months later-
My elder brother was at home while I was at my college in a different city. I got a call from him and he told me that dad has some work so he needs the credentials of his email id, if I have it.
I told him the email id. And then he said
“Password?”
“thewall*****_pinkfloyd” I replied
“What? Did you ask him before setting this password?”
“He suggested me this himself” I replied with a smile on my face. I was playing a prank with my brother.
Now my brother thinks that my father is a pink floyd fan. A person who liked Qawwalis (An old form of music) and old Kishore Kumar songs suddenly turned into a David Gilmour fan. He even insisted upon gifting him the official record of The Wall.
Lol. I will keep the joke alive until of course he asks my dad about it
