One of the advantages of having a mobile phone is that you contac your parents in case of an emergency.

Listen to music.
Learn some English or any other language if you put your telephone in English.
And who knows maybe you can acquire new information.
Now the disadvantages.
If you don't control the amount of time on your mobile phone you can get adit to it.
Social media is fun but it could also be risky.
You also need to be accurate if you let some apps get to your location because you don't know who is standing underdeveloped that screen.
And lastly but not least you can get optic problem from the illumination of the screen
