First you must calculate how many moles of solute there are. For this you must divide the grams of solute (7.97 g) by the molar mass of the solute (I searched for it in google. Is 32.04 g/mol). This gives a result of 0.248 moles.

Then you must use the molarity formula. This means that you must divide the moles of solute (0.248 moles) by the liters (Lt) of solution. But you don't have the liters, you have the milliliters (mL) of solution. what you have to do is simply convert the milliliters into liters. 1 liter (Lt) equals 1000 milliliters (mL).  Then you divide (1.50 x 102) ml per 1000, and you will get the liters (lt). Now we can use the molarity formula.

We divide the moles of solute (0.248) by the liters of solution (0.153 Lt) and we get the molarity! (1.62)
