RespuestThis is not to deny that there are many-influences within the complex pattern of
accumulation that are only indirectly related to workers’ struggles. We discuss many of these. We
also recognize that struggle takes place in a concrete setting, at a given level of capital’s
development and within a particular class composition that shape the direction and outcome of
struggle. But it is our contention, that from the viewpoint of the working class, every factor
related to crisis must be evaluated in terms of the development of sufficient power to overthrow
the system. We argue that Marx and Engels’ work must be interpreted within the framework of
our struggles.
