Ingredients
300 gr. of leftover bread, it doesn't matter if it's sweet or savory
6 eggs
1 liter of milk
½ cup sugar
Zest of an orange peel
Brandy or sweet wine
½ cup walnuts
½ cup raisins
For the candy
• 1 cup of sugar
• ¼ cup of boiling water.
BREAD PUDDING
Ingredients

• ¼ cup of boiling water.
Preparation
• Soak bread in milk, add brandy
• Mix sugar and orange zest
• Incorporate previously beaten eggs
• Chop the nuts and raisins thickly, add to the mixture
• Put the liquid caramel at the bottom of the mold
• Pour the mixture over the caramel
• Take to the oven at 180º C
• Cook in a water bath for 1 hour
• Remove from the oven, let cool and unmold
Liquid candy
Put the sugar in a pan, bring to the fire until the sugar is completely melted and a blond caramel forms. At this time add the boiling water little by little until the caramel becomes more fluid, if you do not need all the water do not incorporate it.
