The odyssey could be said to be the next book after the Iliad. It is the story of Odysseus and his return home (Ithaca Island) after 10 years of war in the Iliad. On his return he finds many dangers and adventures among them, he arrives at the island of Calypso, daughter of Atlas who falls in love with him, a cyclops son of Poseidon falls in love with Odysseus and tries to keep him captive but manages to escape. Meanwhile his wife Penelope is courted by the men of her island to whom she cheats the fabric of her dress. Telemachus the son of Odysseus intends to look for his father. Odysseus returns home and blessed by Aphrodite disguises himself to win his wife's hand again
