Como resultado de la decisión del Gobierno de fortalecer al país dentro del marco de la Economía Naranja la firma estadounidense, Oracle abrió sus puertas a los emprendedores e innovadores que quieran crecer en campos a fines al diseño de hardware y software con enfoque social.
El anuncio se hizo este jueves en una jornada del 'Innovation LAB' de Oracle, donde el gerente general de la multinacional en Colombia, Jorge Arias, señaló que "Nuestro propósito es transformar el mundo empoderando personas a través de la innovación, para que cualquiera pueda ser parte del cambio con el acompañamiento de nuestro equipo de expertos, sin costo alguno y en este nuevo laboratorio de innovación.
Por su parte, el viceministro de Conectividad y Digitalización del ministerio de las TIC, Iván Mantilla, resaltó el aporte de la industria TIC en la disminución de la brecha social y económica a través del desarrollo del talento y soluciones que buscan mejorar problemas públicos.

On the other hand the viceminister of Connectivity and digitalization of the ministery of ICT4D, Iván Mantilla, pointed out the input of the ICT4D industry in the decrease of the social breach and economy through de development of the talent and solutions they search to improve the public issues.
